This is my home in Utah. It belongs to me, my wonderful Sports Addict, and our five children. It’s also my dream home but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect.
Ha, ha, ha, ha… oh man, it has some doosies! There are so many things I want to change, but the layout was exactly what I wanted and the potential is there.
When I say she’s my “dream home” I want you to understand it means I see in her all the potential she holds to be my dream home one day. I can see past the mismatched floors, old carpet, missing trim, random dog door, random light fixtures, occasional plumbing problem, lack of “front steps,” etc., etc., (the list is endless) because potentially, with a LOT of elbow grease and sweat equity I know she will be the beautiful home where my family is together, happy and secure. It may take twenty years, but I’ve got the time, and so does my dream home.
